Health with Class

Health with Class is a free educational program that equips schools with the knowledge and methods necessary to develop health competencies among children and young people and inspires adults working with youth to introduce healthy habits in schools. Health with Class was created to support school communities in strengthening young people’s awareness of health and healthy behaviours.

About the program

Health with Class helps build school communities where students and teachers consciously care for their health and resilience. The program offers year-long support for teachers and students, providing them with thematic training and ready-to-use educational materials in the area of health.

What makes Health with Class unique

Health with Class offers:

  • proven and engaging methods for working with students, such as dialogues, round tables, and school health manifestos;

  • expert support through training and educational materials for teachers (especially PE and health education teachers);

  • a systemic approach engaging the whole school community;

  • a focus on young people’s needs, giving them a voice in issues that matter to them;

  • alignment with the Ministry of Education’s priorities for 2025/2026, including promoting healthy lifestyles and digital hygiene.

Who can participate?

In the 2025/2026 school year, Health with Class invited primary schools (grades 4–8) and secondary schools from across Poland to participate. The program is especially aimed at PE teachers and those teaching health-related subjects (e.g., biology, nature studies, health education, and school psychologists). Participating school groups typically include:

  • at least two teachers per school (a programme coordinator and a supporting teacher),

  • a minimum of five students aged 10–18 acting as Young Health Ambassadors,

  • school leadership representatives.
    Applications were submitted by the school principal or a person designated by them
