’Understand Emotions. Become Resilient to Disinformation’ is a publication focusing on developing young people’s self-awareness as a basis for building resilience to disinformation. In it, we show how emotions and personal experiences affect the reception of information reaching us, and thus our susceptibility to false information.
In the publication, you will find suggestions of activity scenarios for young people aged 10-12 and 13-15 participating in activities in smaller or larger groups, and sometimes individually. In addition, each section begins with a theoretical introduction, providing the educator with basic information on the area covered.
We have also prepared the educational game 'Octogram’, which is part of the publication. It shows the mechanisms governing social media in a simple yet attractive way.
We encourage educators from community centers, teachers, and others interested in the topic to use our publication.
Materials are available in 5 languages: English, Polish, Spanish, Romanian and Czech.
