Understand Emotions. Become Resilient to Disinformation” is a publication focusing on developing young people’s self-awareness as a basis for building resistance to disinformation. In it, we show how emotions and personal experiences affect the reception of information reaching us, and thus our susceptibility to false information.

In the publication, you will find suggestions of activity scenarios for young people aged 10-12 and 13-15 participating in activities in smaller or larger groups, and sometimes individually. In addition, each section begins with a theoretical introduction, providing the educator with basic information on the area covered.

We have also prepared the educational game „Octogram”, which is part of the publication. It shows the mechanisms governing social media in a simple yet attractive way.

We encourage educators from day-support centers, teachers, and other educators interested in the topic to use our publication.

This publication was produced as part of the FAKE kNOw MORE program, which is run by the School with Class Foundation in cooperation with the Demagog Association (Poland), Fakescape (Czech Republic), Smilemundo (Spain), and Adfaber (Romania) with support from the EMIF managed by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
